Where to park en Oviedo

Getting to Oviedo by car is easy, but if you are heading to the city centre it is best to decide in advance where to leave your vehicle. For visits lasting several hours, a good option is to use one of the public car parks near the centre and continue on foot. For short stays there are regulated blue-zone spaces and, for longer stays, green-zone spaces. The guide also includes motorhome parking in Oviedo and dedicated motorcycle parking areas.

Important in 2026: before heading to the old town or city centre, check the access conditions for the Low Emission Zone (LEZ), especially if your vehicle does not have an environmental sticker.

Blue zone y zona verde de Oviedo

Oviedo has regulated on-street parking. The blue zone is intended for higher vehicle turnover, while the green zone allows longer stays.

Oviedo Low Emission Zone (LEZ)

Oviedo’s Low Emission Zone regulations were finally approved at the end of 2025. Since 1 January 2026 the first phase has applied within the inner ring of the city centre. The system regulates access, traffic and parking for certain vehicles.

The inner ring covers much of the old town and city centre, within an area bounded by streets such as Adelantado de la Florida, Postigo, Padre Suárez, Marqués de Gastañaga, Campomanes, Santa Susana, Conde de Toreno, Uría, Doctor Casal, Melquiades Álvarez, Covadonga, Manuel García Conde y Víctor Chávarri.

If the car does not have an environmental sticker: do not enter the restricted area without first checking whether the vehicle is allowed access or qualifies for an authorisation or exemption. The City Council provides a specific system for processing authorisations for residents, businesses and visitors in the applicable cases.

To avoid problems, visitors arriving from outside Oviedo can choose a car park outside the most restricted area or check in advance whether the chosen car park can be reached via an authorised route.

Motorhome parking in Oviedo

If you are looking for motorhome parking in Oviedo, the city has a dedicated parking and service area for motorhomes in La Corredoria, on Calle Daniel Moyano. It is a particularly practical option for visiting Oviedo, as it avoids the height restrictions of many underground city-centre car parks and makes parking easier for larger vehicles.

Motorhomes · La Corredoria · Maximum 72 hours

Área de Servicios y Pernocta de Motorhomes de Oviedo

Address: Calle Daniel Moyano 8, 33011 Oviedo, opposite the Corredoria Arena sports centre.

This motorhome parking area in Oviedo is specifically designed for this type of vehicle and allows a maximum stay of 72 hours.

The area has a fountain and drinking-water refill points, as well as facilities for emptying black and grey water.

Maximum stay: 72 hours.

From La Corredoria you can continue to Oviedo city centre by public transport. For a sightseeing visit, it is much more convenient than trying to access city-centre underground car parks with a motorhome.

View area on the map Area information

How to reach the motorhome area

From Galicia, Avilés, Gijón or Santander: take the A-66a and use exit 25A towards La Corredoria.

From León: on the A-66, take exit 26 towards Oviedo and at the roundabout continue towards La Corredoria.

Be careful with city-centre car parks: a motorhome can easily exceed the maximum height of many underground car parks in Oviedo. Before entering any car park, check the permitted height and access dimensions.

Parking a motorhome is not the same as camping

When a motorhome is correctly parked, it must remain within the designated vehicle space. Avoid extending items beyond the parking bay, setting up tables or chairs on public roads, or discharging waste outside specifically designated facilities.

Motorhomes y Low Emission Zone

If you intend to drive your motorhome into the city centre, check the access conditions for the Oviedo Low Emission Zone and any restrictions that may apply to your vehicle. Using the La Corredoria area and continuing by public transport avoids many of these complications.
